From Reef to Rainforest - Our Stunning Sail to Dunk Island (Ep.38) | Sailing ARGO

From coral reef to island paradise – this sailing passage took us from John Brewer Reef to Dunk Island, with a stop through the breathtaking Hinchinbrook Channel. The dramatic mountain ranges, lush rainforests and winding creek systems make this area one of the most spectacular parts of Queensland’s coast. We dropped anchor at Lucinda, took the tender to shore and enjoyed a great pub meal before heading deeper into Hinchinbrook’s waterways. Gayundah Creek was a highlight – calm, sheltered and surrounded by stunning scenery, even when the winds picked up. Finally, we set sail for Dunk Island to wrap up this unforgettable leg of the journey. Thanks for watching.
