Family Sailing To The Isle of Wight | Rebuilding The Hatch Surrounds | Episode 38

This is Episode 38 of our adventure. This week Hugh parents come to stay so we took advantage of the glorious weather and sailed across to Bembridge, Isle of Wight. We had a day at the beach, the kids went crab fishing, we stayed over night and sailed back the next day. It was such a lovely trip and reminded us of why we are doing this. The second half of the week saw us back to reality with a bump. Kelly took the kids back to the Midlands and Hugh had a few days to get on with boat jobs although he struggled to find the motivation. The end of the week brought a suppose guest, Esperance's old owner who played us a tune on the piano. We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all of our possessions and have the guts to cast off. Follow our adventures.
