Episode 44 - They just walked 4000 miles across New Zealand (Sailing Family Circus)

Meet Tuomas and Anna. Their lives fit in two 7kg backpacks. But their world is limitless. They are joining me on Family Circus to help get her ready to sail and then sail her with me to Tonga. We went to the boat together for the first time yesterday and they've already been an incredible help. Thank you guys! The core of "Family Circus" is Chris (Dad / Captain), Sayo (Mom / Admiral), Aya (First Officer / Deckhand) and Miya (Baby / Stainless Polisher). After many years in business in Vancouver we were tired of life inside the box and wanted to make a change, we just weren't exactly sure what would be next. In July of 2016, when Sayo was six months pregnant, we decided (somewhat at the last minute) to fly to New Caledonia for one last holiday before the baby was born. On this trip we decided to buy "Family Circus", planned to sail her to New Zealand and started an around the world adventure that changed our lives.
