Barefoot Hiker on the AT - Lemon Squeezer and Bear Mountain

I continued hiking New York through Harriman State Park. I stayed with friends and later visited the New York Ren Faire. I set off to tackle the Bear Mountain area the next day. This included the notorious Lemon Squeezer. I tried and succeeded in not ripping my bag or rain cover as I navigated the tight fit. Bear Mountain held a trailside zoo and fun lodge. I walked across the Bear Mountain Bridge and caught a train passing as well as weekenders on a large boat.
