Building a house on a mountain comes with a specific set of problems—mostly involving gravity. In this episode, we tackle the most difficult wall of the build so far. With a steep bank and almost zero clearance for scaffolding, getting the LP SmartSide up was a logistical puzzle that really showed me the value of working with a professional crew. While the exterior is finally getting its "skin," we’re also heading inside to finish up the interior wall framing. Moving from my experience building a DIY shed to framing an actual home has been a massive reality check. I’m learning that in the world of professional construction, "perfect" is often secondary to "practical," and I’m sharing every revelation I pick up from the pros along the way.
