We set sail from Catalina, watching the sunrise over Southern California, with a looming east county fire on the horizon. A calm, warm water crossing set us up to collect multiple mylar balloons…and THEN…the big guns come in. We hook up on a Mako shark, then a Marlin, and even have a close encounter with a small whale in an exciting episode full of sea life.
