8. Emptying the cassette toilet & fitting vinyl flooring
A very important job in this week's video - emptying the toilet! This was easier than I was expecting in some ways, but harder in others. It also alerted me to other issues, such as needing a new trolley! It looks ok on video but trust me it was touch and go whether the wheels would stay on for the trip! After that I fit new vinyl flooring in the shower room. Please forgive my rampant use of the word "lino", when I mean "vinyl" - I do manage to use the correct term on occasion. I've never fitted flooring before so this was completely new to me and I'm super proud of it :) I almost didn't get this video edited in time (it's Monday at 18:40 already), as this weekend things took a downward turn when a leak made itself known in panic-inducing fashion - tune in next week to hear all about that. Spoilers - the boat has not sunk and will survive, if I don't murder it that is.
