ONE YEAR HIGHLIGHTS REEL - Starting with just a dream then beginning our journey with house and possession sales, then quitting work and businesses . Buy our new sailing home from the other side of the world. Then scurrying across to Greece as the borders slammed shut behind us due to covid. Locked down on a 600+ yacht marina with just one other couple living aboard for 3+ months all the while Tim's visa expires and the family is told to leave Greece and pay large fines on the way. Finding Turkey as a "nearby" non-schengen country we sailing quickly to Datca and spend the next 6 months exploring the beautiful country and people. One year has flown by and now we must battle boarders once again with covid restrictions and also issues finding countries happy to allow our ships dog Lucy. We plan to head out of the Mediterranean and the end of the year over to the Caribbean slowly towards New Zealand. ...........................................................................
