104 - Phuket Temple, Night market and STCW course

In this episode we get down to some boat work in the marina, including: - removing the swim platform locking mechanism from the hull, to prevent water ingress; - removing the Single Sideband (SSB) radio installation. Then it's time to do a bit of touring on the Phuket peninsula by land, after having toured the surrounding islands by boat. This included visiting the Chalong buddhist temple, the Old Phuket night market, and the Siam Niramit show. Finally, we attend a marine training course, called STCW 2010, which is a basic course of training for commercial crew, and includes firefighting, first aid, security awareness, and lifesaving equipment like use of life rafts.
