🚫 LOCKDOWN ON THE ISLAND! | SAILING WAYZGOOSE WARRIOR Ep 8

We went to Newtown Creek to hide from strong winds and spent a few days there but as we were there UK went into lockdown and we couldn’t leave the island. We spent about a month on the island and we used the opportunity to explore. On this video we take you on a little walk from Newtown Creek to Yarmouth which is a town, port and civil parish in the west of the Isle of Wight. The town is named for its location at the mouth of the small Western Yar river. After a very muddy walk we explored the town and got some diesel. We went to Ryde where we could see the extent of Ryde Sands as we got there on low tide. And finally we went to Ventnor a seaside resort and civil parish established in the Victorian era on the southeast coast of the island, built on steep slopes leading down to the sea. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset as we walked to Steephill Cove, a traditional, unspoilt fishing cove with a safe, sandy beach, nestled between rocky cliffs and smugglers' coves.
