⛵️Our abandoned boat can almost float!! 🤩#144

This week we installed the flanges of our through-holes back in place and we added some great stuff to them. We are sooooo happy to cross this item off from our to-do list of things to do to splash our sailboat. We’re Duca and Roberta, a Brazilian couple that have bought a 44ft steel sailboat (Dinieper Tropic 1200, designed by Joubert and Nivelt) that was abandoned on the hard for 22 years in Guarujá, Brazil. We are on the mission of refitting her to travel the world taking our house with us! Before we found our dream boat we had another cool project: we were building our Tiny Shipping Container House by ourselves, without any prior experience to be our land base in our hometown, Florianópolis (Brazil).
