This is a really well made and well maintained mid size bowrider. Bryant boats are hand-laid all fibreglass construction so a good quality construction process. This boat has a full storage cover, cockpit and bow covers and a nice size bimini top that is attached to the wakeboard tower. The snap out carpets are in decent shape and the floor is very clean. There is a Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI with captain’s call exhaust and stainless exhaust manifolds powering this boat with only 600 hours. The interior is roomy and all the upholstery is in good condition. The extended swim platform is a great feature that adds a tonne of space. This is a 24’ boat and sits 26’ LOA with the platform. There is a large stereo in the boat with 2 subs and 6 speakers and 2 amps and 2 wired remotes. 10 person capacity rating. Comes on the tandem axle trailer with surge brakes and swing tongue. Summerized and ready to go! Drop by @shuswapmarina today to check it out! This is a consignment (private) sale, no trades, thanks! Check out our friends at www.sascu.ca for financing options. Hi everyone!
Boat life wasn't everything we thought it would be. Some of it was, and some of it wasn't. We always knew we were taking a chance on something we might not enjoy, and now we know more of what we like and what we don't about living aboard our 40-year-old Albin trawler. In this update, we're sharing what made our first attempt at the Great Loop so stressful, what we learned from the experience, and why taking a break was the right decision for us. We're not done adventuring—we're just figuring out what kind of adventures fit us best. 'Akuna' is an exceptionally well-prepared 2014 Nautitech Open 40 now for sale with YOTI on the Gold Coast. https://www.yoti.com.au/listing/crm_preview-467257/?crm_preview AKUNA has been extensively upgraded to create a fast, capable and highly self-sufficient bluewater cruising catamaran. Having recently completed a significant refit and equipped for serious offshore passage making, she presents incredibly well as a result of very capable and experienced owners. Designed by renowned naval architect Marc Lombard, the Nautitech Open 40 is celebrated for combining sailing performance with practical liveaboard comfort. Twin aft helm stations provide outstanding visibility and direct sailing feedback, while the open-plan cockpit and saloon allow large dining and entertaining spaces. Over the past two years, AKUNA has benefited from substantial upgrades. Her entire electrical system was modernised in 2024 with a 12kWh lithium battery bank, 1800W of bifacial solar, a complete Victron energy management system with Cerbo GX, delivering exceptional off-grid capability. A 120L/hr Ocean Spring DC watermaker, upgraded refrigeration, induction galley, espresso machine and numerous cruising conveniences make extended time away from marinas both comfortable and practical. Her sailing inventory is equally impressive. New running rigging, a fully battened mainsail, Hydranet overlapping genoa, Facnor furler, Raymarine navigation suite, AIS, Starlink connectivity and a comprehensive downwind sail inventory ensure she is equally suited to coastal cruising or serious ocean passages. Powered by twin 29hp Yanmar diesels, both serviced in July 2026, AKUNA also features a 4kW inverter generator, new steering cables and rudder bearings (2025), new cockpit enclosure, upgraded windlass, Highfield tender with Mercury 20hp outboard and extensive safety equipment meeting ARC 2025 offshore requirements. Accommodation is provided in the popular four-cabin, two-bathroom layout, offering generous space for family cruising or hosting guests or family cruising. Currently located in Fiji, AKUNA is sailing to Australia and will be available for inspection at The Boat Works, Gold Coast from 1 September 2026. For buyers seeking a proven performance cruising catamaran that has already received the upgrades most owners eventually undertake, AKUNA represents an outstanding opportunity. She is ready to step aboard and head offshore immediately. When our family gathers for a crab feast, it’s all hands on deck. Someone scouts out a bushel of lively number ones, another opens their home port, and a third fires up the steaming gear. We divvy up the chores, split the cost, and brace for the glorious chaos that follows.
