A day of mixed weather and cold. The morning was blue skies and sunshine but cold and little wind. However, we launched and there was enough to give us an hours sailing to Normanton Church, across to Hambleton Peninsula and back to Rutland Sailing Club. We agreed it was getting chilly so a quick bite to eat for lunch, put on some warmer gear and set off again. It proved to be the right move and as the images show, the wind turned up and gave us a great sail and put big smiles on our faces. Another day in the office on Rutland Water - Perfect! After being down since May with Lisa's knee injury and my surprise blood clot we got out for our first sail of the Fall season. Heavy winds were predicted and we were excited to get back out there. As usual this year the winds were dead calm and arrived about 4 hours late (as we were returning to dock). All in all, it was still a fantastic day on the water and we were able to try out a few things during our launch and dock. Thanks for watching and please like, share, subscribe!

Little drama in the mountains while I was hiking on the mountain ridge of Moleta de s´Esclop. Already on my last third of this lovely round-course I stumbled over some rocks, slipped and landed in the grass. I hit my arm and my leg rather badly and I had some painful minutes collecting my thoughts.
