It has been a challenging start to our 2025 sailing season. After a nervous ride up to Wave Pointe Marina at the end of May and a dockside pull from the Marina staff we made it into our slip. A major impediment in addition to the lower water levels was the onslaught of excessive weed growth. While the Marina treated the weeds to try to eradicate them they held us at the slip for 3 weeks. We tried to back out of the slip last week but got stuck again. This week we made it out of the slip into the fairway dragging a huge clump of weeds. But we did make it out.
