A short video report covering the 2024 DF95 (Dragonflite) Traveller Trophy event held at Lincoln Radio Sailing Club on 24th March 2024 This event is part of a series of Model Yacht Racing events for DF65 & DF95 classes held once a month at various locations across the UK during 2024. Lincoln Radio Sailing Club is a popular model yacht racing club and regularly holds major Model Yachting events on their water at Scotland Farm. For those not familiar with the DF95 aka DragonFlite please check out some of our other videos which go into more detail , however, the boat is a mass produced, off the shelf model yacht that is raced as a one design or restricted design class, all boats are technically the same and available at low cost, which provides close and competitive racing. Radio Sailing (Model yacht racing) is a competitive form of yachting and yacht racing run along similar lines to dinghy racing and keelboat racing.
