A semana foi bem corrida por aqui, os mesmos golfinhos que vieram nos dar a boas vindas vieram despedir se na nossa partida em Arraial do Cabo. Passamos alguns dias em Búzios onde nos encantamos com a peculiaridade do lugar, muito turístico e acolhedor, cheio de lojas e restaurantes um melhor que o outro, e pra finalizar fizemos uma travessia que me deixou tenso a semana de preparação inteira pois passamos o tão comentado Cabo de São Tomé conhecido por seus baixios perigosos, correntes fortes 90% do tempo contrárias pra quem está subindo a costa por isso fizemos essa travessia na chegada de uma frente fria que nos ajudou a subir mas não deixava margens de erro pois logo após a frente fria com ventos fortes o mar tende a crescer muito também e deixa a navegação perigosa. Mas aqui estamos em Vitória ES sãos e salvos e com mais experiências vividas do que antes. E teve a cereja do bolo que foi a captura do primeiro Mahi Mahi conhecido como dourado no Brasil que é uma especie magnífica e exuberante na natureza e rendeu uma bela refeição com direito a carpaccio e sashimi pelas mãos da cheff a bordo Denise Personal. In this episode, Breaking Her In: Our First Sail of the Season, We rock the swimwear, put up the sails then leave on a 2 day 60 Nautical Mile journey from Halifax to Sambro rounding Chebucto Head reaching 10 to 15 foot ocean swells, becoming sea sick, and putting into a mooring for the night. The next day we retrace our steps with an amazing and beautiful downwind sail in calm waters and a safe return. The diver who paid us a visit was the Sambro Port Authority doing routine checks of all the moorings in the area. Fun in FUNAFUTI - Chillin’ with the DOLPHINS! We settle into life in Funafuti, Tuvalu. After the rainy weather blows through, we up anchor and set off to explore the southern part of the lagoon. We drop anchor at Funafara Island and it's absolutely beautiful. We kayak and paddle board and generally chill out, enjoying the peace and quiet of being the only boat in the village. We even get to swim with a playful pod of spinner dolphins. Life doesn't get much better.
