2021’s LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Starfighter (75316) is a pretty awesome play set. It is quite similar to the 2012 Pre Vizla’s Mandalorian Starfighter, but seeing as that set was released almost 10 years, ago, I would bet that most people interested in this set do not have the 2012 version. I think most people will love the minifig selection in this set: Bo-Katan Kryze, Gar Saxon, and a Mandalorian Loyalist. I love having three awesome minifigs in a $60 set. Day 2 started out rainy and gusty, making for a restless sleep, and me getting up far too early. But if you can't sleep, you may as well get up - so I did, and made some coffee while enjoying the approaching dawn. Options? We had plenty. Well, we really had two. Stay Put or Go Explore. By Noon we had Aubrey Island to ourselves, and while I had initially wanted to move the boat to the small dock on the East side of the Island, I realized that the wind and waves would have made for a very uncomfortable stay - so that idea was not viable. As the morning progressed, it looked like we were going to have a break in the weather....the wind was less gusty, and the rain more sporadic. What to do??? Decisions, Decisions!

Ahh - life before the Pandemic! August of 2014 we took off from Long Beach, Ca with our extended family to Seattle and the Pacific North West. We stayed at a beautiful VBRO in La Conner, Washington overlooking Skagit Bay. We took day trips to Deception Pass, Snoqualmie Falls, and downtown Seattle - Pikes Place Market. I really miss these summer family vacations when our kids were young enough to just happily go wherever we took them. Nowadays, they want a say in where we go. Enjoy
