It’s a rare sunny day here in Cherbourg, in January - in our experience at least. The locals tell us it’s been raining more than usual - we’re inclined to believe them. So much rain! Anyway, even though we knew the sea outside Napoleon’s wall would be lumpy after days of strong northerlies we saddled Snow Gum up and took off for a few hours of practice. Sorry for all of the wind noise. I was only prattling on anyway so you’ve not missed anything important. But please enjoy watching how well this boat sails in relatively light winds and lumpy seas. This week we sail to Frewin Island in Raja Ampat & visit a well known dive site called the Frewin Wall. Unfortunately we then have to back-track a bit to get some fresh outboard fuel for our dinghy after buying some poor quality fuel at our last stop. The wind is pretty fickle but we do get some good sailing in for most of the time.
