The goal of the constant variance test (body weight edition) is to determine if the order of body weight movements changes the finish time within each round. There are six movements that should be completed as quickly as possible for five rounds. Rest three minutes between each round you must change the order of movements each round. Our #sailboat #restoration continues on our Pearson 34 Sailboat. In this video, we're going to show you how we sanded and washed. We're using Epoxy Fairing Compound to fix the boat and keep it watertight. We'll also show you what we had to do to repair a hull, repair boat blisters, and more. ...So after several days of #sanding the hull we finally got to a point where we can power wash the bottom of the boat so we can start fairing the hull with Interlux Watertite Epoxy Filler. As you saw on our previous video, we tested 4 scenarios of epoxy filling and ended up selecting preparing the hull by sanding before hand, washing, drying and then applying the #epoxy filler. So after several days of sanding we finally reached our goal and can now power wash. Power washing was good as it removed all loose material, paint and dust and left the surface ready for our first pass with the epoxy filler. It is very apparent that whatever #gelcoat mix they were using back in 1985 was not a good one. If the first owner of the vessel does not catch it, then vessel owner nu, "X" (that would be me) has to end up fixing the mess. As you recall we decided not to peel the hull as this would have been very time consuming and costly, so we went with the poors man's approach. Bate-papo e lançamento estão na programação do FOTOMIS O fotógrafo brasileiro Luciano Candisani já percorreu todos os oceanos para documentar as populações tradicionais ligadas ao mar e acaba de concluir seu maior projeto no tema. Ele passou 35 dias imerso na secular cultura das haenyeo, as mulheres do mar da Ilha de Jeju, na Coreia do Sul. São senhoras, de 65 a 92 anos de idade, que mergulham só com o ar dos pulmões a até 10 metros de profundidade, onde permanecem por dois minutos em busca de polvos, peixes, conchas e outros frutos do mar. “Haenyeo é um marco na longa carreira de Luciano. Trata-se de um ensaio no qual ele conjuga a essência da fotografia documental à estética de uma fotografia artística. Tudo isso em um acervo contundente, seja em quantidade, seja em qualidade”, diz a editora Monica Schalka, da Vento Leste, responsável pela exposição e pelo livro. Mais do que extrativistas, as haenyeo mantêm vivos costumes surgidos na Ilha de Jeju há quatro séculos, quando uma conjuntura sociopolítica provocou o êxodo dos homens e levou as mulheres a se lançarem ao fundo do mar pela sobrevivência. Elas foram em busca do sustento de suas famílias sem suspeitar que fundariam uma tradição cultural coesa, hoje incluída na lista da Unesco de patrimônios culturais intangíveis da humanidade e celebrada em todo o mundo pelos valores universais que carrega: sustentabilidade, pertencimento e força da mulher. C'est un Jeanneau Palaos de 5.2m la coque date de 1971 donc vous vous doutez dans quel état je l'ai acheté, mais c'était un défi en l'honneur de mon fils perdu trop tôt... Cette restauration et ce bateau lui son dédié. Vous verrez aussi comment j'ai modifié le tablier arrière pour le passer de moteur inboard à un moteur hors bord. Je suis enfin pret pour la pêche en mer et les promenades en mer en bateau.
