Tuttavia, è stata un’ottima occasione per toccare con mano un po’ di STRUMENTAZIONE, di cui come sapete siamo totalmente privi al momento. Et pour compliquer les choses : une onde tropicale approche. 🌧️🌪️ 👉 Mathis prend les responsabilités en main et assure parfaitement la sécurité du bateau pendant le passage de l’onde. Vous verrez tout : la préparation, les décisions, la gestion du stress et leur organisation face aux conditions météo. Élo, de son côté, croise les doigts pour mon retour… et pour patienter, elle met un gros coup de propre au bateau ! ✨ Ce qu’elle ne sait pas… Je lui prépare une surprise : mon retour beaucoup plus tôt que prévu ! Nach dem knapp 400 Seemeilen langen Törn von Havanna gönnen wir uns erstmal eine kleine Rast auf unserer Tour entlang der Südküste Kubas. Die Bucht Punta Frances im Südwesten der Isla de la Juventud, der Insel der Jugend, ist ein Paradies. Menschenleer, ein langer weißer Sandstrand, noch dazu ohne Müll, kristallklares Wasser, aus dem die Fische fast an Bord springen. Die einzigen Menschen, die wir sehen, sind Fischer. Wir leben ein bisschen wie Robinson Crusoe, schnorcheln, schwimmen und grillen Fisch am Strand. Doch als wir eines Abends am Strand zurück zu den Booten fahren, trauen wir unseren Augen nicht. Almost lost amongst the huge classic yachts moored in the harbour for Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez was the fleet’s smallest yacht, the 26 foot Solent Sunbeam, Dainty. The twists and turns that its owner Peter Nicholson followed over a number of years to get Dainty ‘invited’ to participate at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez in time for its 100th birthday is a wonderful tale; one that says as much about the unique spirit of the regatta as it does of Peter’s unrelenting tenacity. As this was sadly to be Peter’s last appearance at Les Voiles (he had to get a friend to drive a new boom from England after breaking the original in Cannes!) we felt that his delightful story should be told in his own words.
