Greece has started easing its lock down measures and has allowed boats less than 7 meters to go out for recreational fishing, so we take the opportunity to launch "GOAT" our rib to take a trip along the coast. We are hearing rumours that travel through Greece could be permitted by the middle of May, we hope that is the case as we would love to stay in Greece for this summer season, but between BREXIT and Covid we are unsure of our options. Also in this episode we climb the rig to replace some deck lights, while up the rig a safety line block breaks and we have to abort the work and replace the block. We also carry on with our refurbishment of the interior vinyl by replacing the cabin lining in the lower saloon, don't worry we run out of vinyl pretty soon, its now April and we will be sailing somewhere, even if it's back to the UK ! Descubrimos las Islas Maldivas a bordo de un lagoon 620 con tripulación, algo distinto en nuestros descubrimientos de destino ya que normalmente lo hacemos sin tripulación. El itinerario es muy bonito e interesante siempre que te guste realizar snorkeling o lo quieras combinar con el buceo ya que el barco si lo alquilas privadamente tiene su compresor a bordo. Los atolones son inmensos e increíble que puedan haber tantos reef o bancos de arena dentro del mismo o islas habitadas o sin habitar. Le sorpresa ha sido increíble de la cantidad de tortugas que puedes llegar a ver y mas si vas con niños pequeños. Lo combinamos en la parte final con 3 días de hotel en un Resort donde pudimos descansar de otra forma, realizando actividades como las motos de agua, winsurf o picht and putt. A parte fué el aniversario de nuestros padres y les realizamos una boda sorpresa de 50 años de casados, fué una experiencia para todos increíble.

Great Race returns A diverse and competitive fleet will chase history in the 2021 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, headlined by the battle for the Tattersall Cup and the introduction of the Two-Handed Division. For the 2021 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, six Australian states and territories are represented in the fleet of 106 boats (NSW, Tasmania, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and ACT), along with three international entries (Black Jack – Monaco; Maverick 49 – Guernsey; SHK Scallywag 100 – Hong Kong). Matt Allen’s Botin 52 Ichi Ban is hoping to become only the third boat to win the Tattersall Cup (awarded to the overall winner on handicap) three times, having won the 2017 and 2019 editions of the race. Simon Kurts’ S&S 47 Love & War is one of the two boats on that elite list (Freya is the other) and will be one to watch if the breeze is strong and blowing from different directions. Speaking at the Official Media Launch for the 2021 Rolex Sydney Hobart, Allen said “We have a chance of going back-to-back, but we will put that out of our minds - we're pretty superstitious! "You need all the moons to align [to win the Tattersall Cup]. Another wind-less day at the lake so the outboard goes on and we enjoy a whole day getting up to all kinds. We start the day with some boat projects then I end up crashing my drone and breaking a rotor and the gimble (Again!!). I think this may be the end for this 6 year old drone. I show you how to launch the boat off the shore with the motor, We appreciate the tranquility of Lake Bala and also the wildlife, apart from a fly that keeps biting me!!
