Hunting for giant treasures, Manta Rays in Komodo. The Komodo Islands are famous for Komodo Dragons and Scuba Diving. Not only does the underwater world here have incredible marine diversity, it’s also home to an astonishing amount of reef Mantas. In this video you are about to witness the amazing encounters with these majestic marine animals if you decided to visit Komodo for your next scuba diving destination. There are quite a few diving spots where you can see Manta Rays. The most famous is in the far south called Manta Alley. Here the waters are a little colder than in central Komodo, but well worth a visit. Then there is the more frequently visited site in central Komodo called Manta Point, also known as Makassar Reef. Off course don’t forget about the very famous Shotgun, also known as The Cauldron. And lastly there is the less frequently visited site called Mauan. #ScubaDiving #Komodo #closeencounters

When everything just breaks seemingly at one time, you can lose your mind a little bit. After all the work to convert Ixion to an electric sailboat, this set back is frustrating. We are finally reaching the end of our long stretch, and getting ready to move onboard. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned when two large storms blew through, causing damage to our dodger and solar panels. To top it off, we begin to experience electrical issues that gets in the way of charging our batteries. With a broken solar charger, we can't run our electric motor.
