Le Président de l'AMCL, Daniel Ecalard, accueillait ce dimanche 18 janvier 2015 des visiteurs, afin de leur faire découvrir le voilier du Defi Martinique sur la Route du Rhum 2014 et leur raconter son aventure, en tant que skipper, dans cette course des plus mythique des transatlantiques en solitaire. Cette action était au profit de la classe de 1ère Sciences et Technologies du Design et des Arts Appliqués du Lycée Saint-James, pour leur permettre de financer un voyage d'étude au Canada.
