http://sailing-phuket.com This video was taken during only 2 dives at Hin Muang a great dive site south of Phuket in April 2014. The visibility was not very good as there was a lot of plankton in the water which is the reason why the Manta's go there to feed. We often see Manta Rays there when diving or snorkelling but we never have seen as many as this time. It was a kind of hard to film as there were just too many of them at the same time. Hola familia, Por suerte tomamos la decisión de seguir adelante con el plan inicial que era pelar la obra viva entera para inspeccionar y arreglar cualquier daño. Ya que, como veréis en este vídeo nos llevamos una sorpresita... Encontramos osmosis en nuestro barco. Para quién no sepa de que se trata, la osmosis es un fenómeno que se produce cuando el agua del mar penetra el casco, filtrándose a través del gelcoat y creando ampollas en este. Pero como veréis Alex es una persona optimista y no hay nada que se le resista!! El trabajo es muy duro pero al final del día siempre es gratificante ver lo que hemos sido capaces de hacer. Many people write blogs/FB pages etc while they build their boat to help others and keep motivated. Then, once launched, they find they are too busy enjoying the sailing to continue posting. One such builder is Steve, who built a plywood Vardo 34 catamaran completely in the open in SE England.
