For the past couple of weeks my crew and I have been stuck in the Seychelles due to some immigration complications. What an awful place to be stuck, right? With the extra time on our hands we have been exploring the islands, eating new foods, and making friends with the locals. A few nights ago we met a friendly farmer named Gerry, who gave us a lift to our boat. That’s when we got the brilliant idea to spend a day working on his farm to see what life is like for a farmer in the Seychelles. Gerry was up for it, so a couple of days later, we headed to his farm. ------------------------------------------ SUBSCRIBE to our Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5yQtWj1R--f7TCDpzZ5iXg?sub_confirmation=1 ------------------------------------------ EXCLUSIVE CONTENT!!: https://www.patreon.com/sailingrippleeffect ------------------------------------------ Watch Season 7: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afaTfAmnuMs&list=PLEz8PmTM4lWDK2c2YW8rr55wjvf74934g Watch Season 6: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-1Jkl4rCMY&list=PLEz8PmTM4lWDu_xLN0JFnx-YX5lSgzXq3&index=1&t=57s Watch Season 4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7IrEwJVnHI&list=PLEz8PmTM4lWDG7tstlqR3O1M2fkQQT8-A Watch Season 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nsvIT8jNl8&t=131s Watch Season 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yt7prknxHOA Watch Season 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z1OuEPXG-w ------------------------------------------ Follow Mara: https://www.instagram.com/mararipple/ Follow Doc: https://www.instagram.com/docgastone/ Follow Gabi: https://www.instagram.com/gabiwaked/ Follow Alex: https://www.instagram.com/alexoropel/ Follow Berra: https://www.instagram.com/_____berra_____/ #seychelles #travel #uniquetravelexperiences
A few minutes after leaving Wakatobi an alarm started beeping loudly. I thought it was something relating to my boat for a minute until I realised it was an AIS Safety Warning, an alert being transmitted by someone in distress. It was 6-7nm out of my way and there were two ships passing the area much closer but when I radioed them they didnt seem concerned and said they'd "monitor" the situation. That didnt sound very encouraging so I changed course to go checkout the situation myself. Hope you enjoy my video this week. 🌊⚓ ¿Barco o Camper?

From a 20 ft traditional Norwegian boat of the type "Snekke" to the great motorsailer Nauticat 38 pilothouse sailboat. Wooden boats, fancy boats, Norwegian made. Swedish made. Coastal and blue water, we've had them all. In this video you can see a collection of some of the boats we have had over the years. We've been exploring the coasts of Sweden and Norway and also crossed the Atlantic twice. We've had boats of all ages, but for some reason most of them has been Swedish made in the 80s. Join us on a visual journey showcasing a diverse collection of boats, from classic Norwegian wooden boats to modern designs. Experience the beauty of sailing and the open ocean as we capture incredible moments on the water. This travel vlog highlights various sailing scenes and the serene atmosphere of docked sailboats, all leading to a heartfelt "Thanks for watching Sailing Maja" message.
In September 2015 Infinity visited central and northern Vanuatu, spending time on Efate, Ambrym and Epi islands. Our friend and talented musician Paul Winn put together a great video showing some of the highlights of this trip. Our adventure included joining a local racing derby, making music (and drinking kava!) with our village friends, some great diving and of course a super hike up Marum volcano. Sit back, enjoy, and let Paul's soothing voice and music take you along on another great Infinity Expedition adventure!
We make an early escape from the Giens Peninsula to stay ahead of strong winds forecast for later in the day. The headland near Toulon is notorious for accelerating the breeze, and once in open water, the waves can quickly build—so timing is everything. With a smooth passage behind us, we drop anchor off Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and wait for the wind to turn before crossing the bay to La Ciotat. This charming French town welcomes us with a large harbour, winding old streets, and plenty of cafés, restaurants, and small shops to explore. La Ciotat is a stop well worth making as we look for our next weather window to continue west along the Mediterranean coast.
