Started all my fires with ferrocerium rod, and cooked all my food on them, except some marshmellows. I found batoning, and the saw, much more practical than the (heavier) axe. 40 pound pack weight, including 3.5 pound axe, and water. 74 gigabytes, 3h39m, of 4k video recorded.

And to make matters worse, there's not a breath of wind in sight. A day ago we left Malta on this 195Nm passage to Cap Monastir. With nightfall fast approaching and the threat of strong winds looming on the horizon, every moment counts. We swallow our pride and reach out for a helping hand - our priority is our safety.
