Exploring the Magnificent Canal Rocks in Yallingup If you're seeking a picturesque adventure along the stunning coastline of Western Australia, look no further than Canal Rocks in Yallingup. This natural wonder, shaped by time and the powerful forces of nature, offers a fascinating blend of history, geology, and underwater beauty that will leave you in awe. Canal Rocks holds a rich history that dates back centuries. Originally formed through the gradual erosion of the ancient granite coastline, these iconic rock formations have served as a navigational landmark for sailors and fishermen for generations. The name "Canal Rocks" is derived from the narrow channels and canals that have been carved out by the relentless pounding of the waves, creating a mesmerizing interplay of land and sea. Geologically speaking, Canal Rocks is a prime example of the stunning rock formations that grace the southwestern coast of Australia. Composed primarily of hard, resistant granite, these rocks have withstood the test of time and remain standing as a testament to the forces of erosion and weathering. For those with a sense of adventure, Canal Rocks also holds a hidden gem beneath the surface – the Aquarium. This natural rock pool, formed by the flow of the tides, is a haven for marine life and a popular spot for diving and swimming.

This is HH#1 (Hull Half #1) process to start a hull half. The process is called Shiny Side Down placing the material down onto the prepared surface then adding foam and vacuum bagging down. This creates a smooth finish for this mid-section of each hull half. It is then placed into the mold shiny side down and zip tied to the mold to hold its shape.

We go to a friends Medieval birthday party, and then to a reunion with my friends from high school back in the 80s. I make a new entre called seaweed wrapped bacon and shrimp.
