Luoghi di interesse sono Porta Nuova, il Santuario di Santa Maria dell'isola, ed il Museo dei Mestieri Tradizionali della Calabria. Le Isole Eolie distano solamente 30 miglia da Tropea. www.ralfuka.de Am 02. April 2011 passieren wir, während eines Überführungstörns von Marmaris nach Sardinien, mit der Jeanneau Sun Odyssee 45.2 "White Cliffs" den Kanal von Korinth. Die gut 6 km lange Passage gilt, bezogen auf den Kanalkilometer, als teuerster Kanal der Welt. Für die 45er bezahlen wir stolze 235 € = 37 €/km.
