A conversation with Mark the Rigger in Oriental, North Carolina. Mark replaced all of the standing rigging on our Westsail 42 Paragon. He also helped us to install a new bowsprit, step the mast, tune the rig, rebuild all our winches, and much much more before we pushed off on our 6000 nautical mile voyage from North Carolina to Iceland.

Damit wird für mich als Musiker und (Neu-) Segler ein Traum wahr, an den ich schon häufig nicht mehr geglaubt habe. In dieser Videoreihe und in meinem Blog möchte ich von meinem Traum, von den Vorbereitungen dazu und natürlich von meiner Reise berichten um meine Begeisterung für diese Art des Reisens anderen zu vermitteln und das falsche Image dieses vermeintlichen Luxussportes zu korrigieren.
