On the 12 and 13 of September Grand Prix one was held at Bronkospruit Dam at TCC club. Weighing anchor and departing Newtown Creek, early morning to catch the east going Solent tide for the trip back to Gosport

Arriving at Gosport via the small boat channel, keeping clear of the busy traffic, including the Portsmouth - Ryde ferry

Leaving Gins yacht club, Beaulieu river, at low tide, with the assistance of some very helpful shoreside people

Arriving at my swinging mooring in Spider lake, Portsmouth harbour, and picking up the buoy, single handed

If you anchor in Newtown Creek, IOW, be prepared to collect a mass of weed and mud on your anchor and chain

The nice thing about mooring with Gosport Boatyard, is that you get a complmentary ferry right up to your boat

Sometimes everything seems to happen all at once and I find myself overwhelmed, feeling lonely and exhausted.
