La portacontainer era diretta in Cina. Ha fatto scalo a Malta, Beirut e dopo il canale di Suez a Gedda (Arabia Saudita). It is the 6th 470 World title for Olympic gold medallist Mat Belcher & the 18th for Australian Sailing Head Coach Victor Kovalenko. In the 470 Women’s Carrie Smith & Jaime Ryan finished the regatta in overall ninth and secured Australia a spot at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games (subject to ISAF ratification).
