► Our correspondent in South Africa, Jonathan Jagot, was able to test the 2026 Leopard 53 PC departing from Cape Town. ► Indeed, the largest model in Leopard Catamarans’ power range was launched in early 2020 - celebrated with a world premiere at the Miami International Boat Show - so it was high time to revisit the design, especially as competition in the 50-55ft powercat segment has intensified significantly. The Leopard Catamarans and Robertson & Caine teams have therefore introduced an all-new interior design, which proves to be far warmer and more inviting than the previous version. The overall layout remains unchanged, retaining the signature split galley close to the cockpit and the saloon located near the forward door. ► The most striking changes concern the cockpit, where all seating has been redesigned to be modular - so if you feel like turning the aft deck into a dance floor, that’s now entirely possible.
