Wir sind unter Zeitdruck, wir müssen nach Miami. Um 05:00 Uhr gehen wir Anker auf, es ist noch stockfinster. Wir erbitten über Kanal 9 die Öffnung der SE 17`th Street Bridge für 05:30 Uhr. Der Öffnungsvorgang muss vom Brückenwärter abgebrochen werden – die Brücke ist durch das Unwetter beschädigt und lässt sich nicht öffnen. Erst um 08:00 Uhr dürfen wir die halb geöffnete Brücke passieren. Vollgas nach Miami. 5 ½ Stunden später machen wir in der Dinner Key Marina an Mooring 92 fest. Kurz aufklaren, einchecken, Mietwagen übernehmen, Einkaufen und ab zum Flughafen Miami. Glücklicherweise kommt unser Besuch nicht am Flughafen Fort Lauderdale an.
