I've been super fortunate to have sailed the Leopard 48 quite a bit. They are one of the best catamarans built by Robertson & Caine. They launched roughly 200 of the Leopard 48's, and Zenobia is without a doubt one of the nicest ones I've been fortunate enough to spend time on. Some of her key features include: -Lithium - Solar - Watermaker -Updated Electronics - Dive Compressor And so much more. Check out the link below for pricing and more information on her: https://catamarancentral.com/news/2016-leopard-48-zenobia/ If you have any questions please leave a comment or shoot me an email. Welcome to our boat tour and review of the Hallberg Rassy 57. This really is the ultimate go-anywhere cruiser. You wanna sail to Patagonia or do the North West passage? This should be on your shortlist. Conversely, she would be just as happy sailing the Caribbean or even sticking to her local cruising ground in the Baltic. This boat can take you anywhere. However, it isn't perfect. Check out the video for our thoughts. I've been keeping an eye on this boat from the day she debuted at the Annapolis Boat Show in 2018. This video was shot in the 2 weeks while I was down in Key West. She is an exceptionally well equipped and priced boat. Trouble is- we were in a pandemic, had a university degree to finish, on a student budget, only had ever sailed dingies, oh and didn’t have a boat. The dream seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, finished our degrees, worked as many hours as physically possible, saved with all our might, got experience and in March 2022 bought our very own sailboat, Teulu. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. We hope you can join us as we sail around the world and keep #bloodydoingit #sailing #boatlife
Welcome to our boat tour and review of the Hanse 418, a Production boat with great performance, a high level of comfort and some lovely internal living space. The more I looked at this boat, the more I liked it. DO Consider this boat if: You want an affordable (relatively speaking) 40ft cruiser with awesome sailing capabilities that you can use for holidaying, weekend sailing and maybe even some casual racing. DON'T consider this boat if: You're planning a circumnavigation or will be regularly sailing in lively weather and can't always pick your weather window. Thanks for watching! Real boat review: the Excess 11 tested by a Seawind owner and a Jboat owner during a 5000 miles sail
Do you want to know what the Excess 11 is really like? Forget about boat show review, or 100 miles sea trial ...in this episode I interview Doug, Seawind 1260 owner and Alan, J130 owner, midway during our 5000 nautical miles passage from Panama to Tahiti. This is real feedback by real boat owners who have sailed thousands of miles across oceans on their boats and on the Excess...
In this video, we review a new inflatable dingy made by 3D Tender. It's a 280 VIB Air suitable for 4 people and a maximum carrying capacity, including the engine of 500KG. It can take up to 10 HP and it's really light in weight at just 25KG which attracted us to this boat. Its 2.8m in length and has 42cm tubes, 3 chambers + 2 floor chambers, a seat, paddles, pump and repair kit. Please note, we purchased this item ourselves, we are not sponsored by 3D Tenders. TECHNICAL SCHEDULE Designed in accordance with European RCD requirements and CE certification, these regulations ensure that the Océanis Clipper 373 incorporates the minimum safety requirements including: • Safety and protection of persons on board. • Durability of materials. • Stability and safety. • Safety when manoeuvring. • Fire protection. • Protection of the environment and reduction of engine emissions. - HULL - The hull is single-skinned GRP construction. Reinforced points (keel, rudder, chain plates, hull-deck joint) help to strengthen the structure. A structural inner moulding is bonded and laminated to the hull. Its structural role is important as it takes and absorbs the stresses at pressure points (shroud chainplate tie rods, keel, rudder, etc.), and spreads any loads guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull. The surface material of the inner moulding makes cleaning easier and provides a better finish. The standard hull is white in colour with blue and silver livery. Steel blue is available as an option. - DECK - The deck is sandwich construction (glass fibre and balsa) for an optimal strength/weight ratio and excellent thermal and sound insulation. A “diamond point” non-slip surface increases safety over all areas of movement on deck. - HULL/DECK JOINT - An open-work aluminium toerail is bonded and screwed to the deck. This assembly technique ensures watertightness of the hull/deck joint and provides safety during movement on deck. - KEEL - The keels (deep and shallow draught) are cast iron. To improve their durability the keels are given an anticorrosion treatment and improved finish in the factory before assembly, using epoxy based coatings and paint. The keel is screwed to the boat with a stainless steel backplate and bonded. - STEERING - • Composite stock under-hung rudder. • Column-mounted pivoting steering wheel (Bénéteau patent). • Metal cable transmission system. • Emergency tiller. This is Episode 35 of our adventure. This week we give you an updated tour of our 50' sailboat as of June 2022. We have been in the water for a little over a month and are trying to balance family life whilst continuing with the boat refurb. We have resigned ourselves to the fact we won't be ready to cross the Atlantic this year so we have plans for a 10 week sabbatical. In this video we update you of our plans and show you around the boat as it is now. We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all of our possessions and have the guts to cast off. Follow our adventures. Leave us a comment, watch our other videos, join our Facebook page, become part of our journey. https://www.facebook.com/fivegosailing https://www.instagram.com/fivegosailing

Source of the description: Vaan. Yachts BV “https://www.vaan.yachts/r4-exterior/“ Vaan. Yachts BV 2022 "MADE FOR SAILORS A Vaan is made for sailors. For the sensation of the water and the wind. It’s meant to excite and explore. And sure, a Vaan is also a fantastic luxury cruiser. But first and foremost a Vaan is made for sailors. A SAILORS HELM POSITION As a helmsman you want to be at the back of the cockpit, not high upon the roof. And the large, open transom connects you to the water that rushes underneath. It gives you a spectacular sailing sensation, much like a monohull, but without the heeling. And faster. CIRCULAR MATERIALS The design of the R4 is based on circular principles from the start. It is mostly made of recyclable materials and it is almost completely recyclable itself. The hull is made of more than 50% recycled aluminium like old window frames, traffic signs and license plates. Some parts contain even more than 75% reused materials. Aluminium also has an excellent track record for its strength, safety and flexibility ELECTRIC PROPULSION The Vaan R4 is all-electric, including the propulsion. You can choose between 2 Torqeedo FP10’s or 2 OceanVolt SD15’s, which offers hydro-generation allowing you to recharge the batteries while sailing. We are really enjoying this life and sharing everything with you it's been wonderful . Thank you very much, you guys are amazing supporting us with your likes and comments, we really feel that we have a new family out there. Much love Carla & Simon A little bit about us... We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it.
► Full test in Multihulls World Special Edition 18: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/catamaran/ocean-renegade-r5-performance-and-ecology-aboard-the-same-catamaran ► The R5 is the original in the R series of Ocean Renegade and has proven to be a very capable bluewater cruiser. Her design brief was to incorporate a large open layout onto a 54-foot platform that featured both a forward sailing cockpit as well and a combined/convertible salon and aft cockpit. Her sailing cockpit has dual doors and a pivoting helm that allows for 3 different door and sailing configurations. This is a safe and secure sail handling area optimised for single-handing with all sail controls in one location and includes an electric line driver to control the mainsheet traveler. The R5 was developed to take full advantage of electrical propulsion systems, in particular the Torqeedo Deep Blue system where detailed hydrostatic and flow analysis was performed on the hulls to ensure efficiency. The system is backed up by a 15kw genset for range extension and the BMW battery system provides more than ample power for all the house loads. Large Corian kitchen and galley countertops, dishwashers, induction cooking, and vast amounts of stored energy all finished in handcrafted foam-cored natural bamboo cabinetry and trims make very comfortable to live on. The R5 achieves 200 miles per day without generating high loads. She covers distances effortlessly, but can also be dialed up to reward sailors with an exhilarating ride when required. The daggerboards reaching down anywhere from 4'3" of minimum depth to 7'6" at max depth kept us tight to the wind. ► TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Length: 54' - 16.46 m Beam: 25' 5" Draft:4'3" to 7'6" Displacement: 30865 lbs Dry Weight: 24912 lbs Main square top: 92 sq. m Jib: 42 sq. m Code Zero: 96 sq. m Assym. Today we are reviewing the Hallberg Rassy 400, a brand new model from the Swedish yacht builder Hallberg Rassy, known for their quality passagemakers. Hallberg Rassy's are often the boat of choice amongst sailors who want to circumnavigate and/or sail high latitude waters, but the 400 is a little different to their older models, and Nick's not convinced its an improvement. Later in the series we'll review their 57, so subscribe to watch that! Thanks for watching! The 45m/148' yacht for charter CURIOSITY is a testimonial of the yachting golden era. Delivered in 1985, she comes from a period considered the best one in terms of naval architecture and spatial ideation. Having undergone a 2-year refit completed in 2021, her major new features are her extra 2,4m/6'6" in length and eco-friendly engines (through thermal combustion via an Azipod thruster powered by one of the two generators) for a safe and comfortable charter experience. CURIOSITY is above all an abundance of intimate relaxing areas. 4 guest decks and 200sqm exterior spaces are available for your needs. She includes areas for fitness, relaxation, and dancing. Her sun deck, called "Riot Flame deck", is structured in two main spaces: the healthy stage-like kitchen and the tented gym area. On the upper deck, enjoy the 7-seater Jacuzzi pool added during her 2019-2021 refit, and the expansive sunbathing areas or cocktail bar. On the main deck, the alfresco dining area is an invitation to relaxation and hedonism. At last, the extended swim platform offers more space, very practical for yoga sessions or as a water sports base. The 2021 refit also added a more modern open-plan exterior layout, including the addition of a spacious sunbed area at the bow. Her new length of 45m/148' boasts now more living spaces than a 55-meter yacht, plus all the luxury facilities any demanding guests would expect. On the interior side, retro-inspired, natural fiber fabrics, and white marble surfaces are tempered with cognac-colored leather and briarwood accents. It creates a feeling of familiarity and calmness, with a state-of-the-art air conditioning system. With wide salons, and fine AV/IT onboard technologies, CURIOSITY welcomes a total of 12 guests that can be accommodated in an arrangement of 6 staterooms with marble en-suite bathrooms. CURIOSITY comes with a crew of 10, specialising in offering awe-inspiring Italian art style service and desirable holistic onboard & water activities. Enjoy her large set of water toys for exceptional moments at sea! ➡️ Enquire with Fraser to find out more about this yacht for charter: https://www.fraseryachts.com/en/yacht-for-charter/curiosity/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=referral Built/ Refit: 1985/2021 Builder: Nicolini Length: 45.2M/148'04" Beam: 7.54M/24'09" Draft: 3.4M/11'02" Gross Tonnage: 320GT Hull: Steel Stabilisers: At anchor & Underway Engines: 2 X MTU (2,120HP) Cruising/Max speed: 12 Knots / 16 Knots Cruise Range: 2,500NM Economical Range: 5,000NM Exterior Designer: Richard Le Sarre / Dubois Classification: Lloyd's Register Staterooms: 6 Guests: 12 (Cruising and sleeping) Crew: 10

We're continuing our monohull review series with a boat tour and review of the Moody 41DS. This is a really interesting boat, and unlike anything else on the market. The design takes inspiration from trawlers such as the Nordhavn and catamarans, but it is of course a monohull. The question is- is this the best of both worlds? Or are they trying to create the impossible? Let us know your thoughts. Thanks for watching! We have an action packed episode this week as we hit the 200,000 subscriber mark on youtube! We take you along as we get a custom made surfboard made for us by Courtney Parks, the owner of Tropix surfboards in Bocas del Toro, Panama. I then interview my friend Mike, who is building a custom made aluminium sailboat in the same factory where Courtney shapes his surfboards. SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. After months of "couch sailing" on YouTube we decided it was time to stop dreaming and dream and start living it. Brit has wanted to sail and own boat for many years but it was always something that didn't seem it could possible for us. Until we stumbled across countless and I mean countless YouTube Channels like, La Vagabonde, Beau & Brandy, Sailing Uma, SV Delos, Parlay Revival, Tula's Endless Summer, Odd Life Crafting, Expedition Evans and the list goes on. We can only hope to inspire one person to chase their dreams as they have inspired us to. After what seemed like a long search for a sailboat we learned about hurricane damaged boats for auction down in the Caribbean. We came across a listing for a 43 Beneteau Oceanis that was currently being auctioned. We put in our bid and got out bid a few times before finally winning in the end. We had a short window to get from California to St. Thomas USVI to secure our purchase. Now the fun begins! It is time to refit this hurricane damaged sailboat make her our own. Thanks for watching! Matty, Brit & Wicked :)

Full test in Multihulls World n°185: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/motor/leen-72-three-hulls-dividing-consumption-by-three The interest of these new ocean-going multihulls is their very low drag. The Leen 72, like her smaller sistership, the 56, retains the principle of a vast platform sat above the three hulls, but adopts smaller and more aft-set floats than those of the NEELs, so that the deck plan, seen from above, is reminiscent of that of a monohull – a very wide one! Maximum habitability, panoramic view from the pod, low consumption, good behavior in rough seas: the 72 promises to be an ideal craft for long cruising or even exploration missions. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Builder: Leen Trimarans Architects: Nivelt and Frutschi Overall length: 71’6” (21.80 m) Beam: 29’ (8.85 m) Draft: 4’6” (1.37 m) Light displacement: 70,500 lbs (32 t) Water: 264 US gal (1,000 l) Fuel: 1,320 US gal (5,000 l) Motor: 330 HP Cabins: 4 to 6 CE Certification: A Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests! ► Full test in Multihulls World #185: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/trimaran/corsair-880-a-brilliant-toy-for-gliding-across-the-water ► An easy-to-transport trimaran that’s comfortable for both cruising and racing. This is how the 880 comes across, a worthy heir to the famous F-27, an iconic model launched back in 1986. This time, the yard started from a blank canvas and integrated elements of comfort previously unknown on board a trimaran of less than 30’ (9 m): complete lighting system, refrigerator, manual or electric toilets, and even reversible air conditioning are available! Performance enthusiasts can rest assured: the air conditioning and generator are removable... And the Corsair 880, available in a Sport version with its carbon mast, should be able to fully convince them! ► TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Builder: Corsair Marine Length: 28’11” (8.80 m) Beam: 22’4”/8’3” (6.8 / 2.5 m) Light displacement: 3,660 lbs (1,660 kg) Draft: 18”/5’3” (0.45 / 1.60 m) Sail area: 555 sq ft (51.47 m²) Mast height: 39’4” (12 m) Max engine power: 15 HP outboard ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Multihulls World's YouTube page now - https://www.youtube.com/c/MultihullsWorld ► Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests!
