In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father, and I (Paige) got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻. Following Ed's return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. So, after nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. We went to take our sailboat out the Ft Pierce Inlet for our second time for a shakedown sail. We had sail issues so we had to come back into the inlet with an outgoing tide and incoming east wind. We did not know that combination made the inlet rough as we are new to inlet currents and tides. Made for a fun surfing ride back into the inlet.
