In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father, and I (Paige) got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻. Following Ed's return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. So, after nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. The Melonseed Regatta at Mystery Bay was the first invitational event for Gig Harbor Boat Works boat owners. GHBW invited Melonseed owners to join up, meet one another and sail their boats together on a gorgeous summer day. It was quite a success and we hope to have more meetups in the future!

Oggi è SABATO! Sabato significa che i pc restano chiusi e possiamo dedicarci COMPLETAMENTE all’esplorazione e al relax. Che gioia🥹 Iniziamo cercando un cantiere a cui chiedere un preventivo ma sono tutti chiusi, probabilmente in vista di Pasqua. D’altronde è weekend anche per loro. Vi capiamo. Allora ci dedichiamo al passeggiare, all’esplorare e con piacere scopriamo prima un ristorante che ci riporta con il cuore in Spagna e poi una marina che conserva tutta la bellezza, l’eleganza e l’armonia tipica degli inglesi. Ci viene una gran voglia di sederci a un tavolino e sorseggiare un tè con un goccio di latte 😂 Ci è piaciuta così tanto English Harbour che abbiamo provato a tornarci in barca, ma purtroppo non abbiamo trovato un ormeggio libero. Torneremo domani! Obiettivo? Affittare una deriva e fare un po’ di sano sport adrenalinico! 💪 Buon weekend a tutti! C.
