In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father, and I (Paige) got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻. Following Ed's return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. So, after nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. A quick video of our recent launch after 9 months out of the water. Some seacocks serviced, some replaced, but all checked. So many people seem to take for granted that boats are just water tight, they’re not. Take care, and check all Seacocks when you are lifted. Give yourself good time to replace if needed, alongside a drying pile can be a rush and sometimes not enough time. And make sure all cocks are checked whikst you are held (preferably in slings at the yard).
