In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father, and I (Paige) got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻. Following Ed's return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. So, after nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. J109 Going to Red gliding by GBR 7737 from the IRC 0 fleet during Volvo Cork Week 2024. The crew on the downwind boat was calm as the boats converged, making only a small adjust to ensure they stay clear. Shortly after the close cross it was time to take on the lay line and get after the leaders of the IRC1 race who had got the jump on the redline racing team at the start.
