In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father, and I (Paige) got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻. Following Ed's return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. So, after nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. If you'd like to join us while we work to get our new home offshore ready and to see what we get up to on our future sailing adventures - like, subscribe, and follow along. We'd love to have you! Cheers! Helping during docking? Don’t just jump in. Think first. It’s easy to rush, shout, or pull lines without knowing the plan. But real seamanship starts with clarity and calm. 3 rules before you step in to help: 1. Ask clearly what the captain needs 2. Act fast — but never in panic 3. Protect yourself first — always Helping isn’t just about being there. It’s about being useful, smart, and safe. Train with us if you want to master the mindset. We don’t just teach knots. We teach presence. #mediterraneanmasterclass #epicnavigator #docking #sailing #seamanship #milebuilding
