This week we skipped our weekly video as we have been busy with home renovations and simply lack of sailing. However, we never miss an opportunity to embrace natures beauty, this time in the form of a common dolphin family swimming by our anchorage. Two of the four adults had younglings with them, who they seem to be teaching. Pretty cool to spot them by your front door ! Nature is awesome and nature needs us as much as we need it ! Perhaps modern technology will and already is able to show us the incredible similarities we all share, the complex social behaviours and interactions, the meaning of family and so much more :) Ps. As we explored the amazing Sardine Reef #divesite in #RajaAmpat, we discovered something very remarkable. A large school of #herringfish performing as a collective, akin to a dancing troupe. They resemble an enormous, vibrant, living cloud! They all seem somehow connected because of how flawlessly they move, as if they were submerged and sharing secret stories. The tales of survival, of living in safety, of the interconnectedness of all things in water. It's similar to a large puzzle in which each piece is important. We are reminded that a #schooloffish may be so dramatic, and we should always be thankful for our life and the ability to witness these natural wonders.
