This week we skipped our weekly video as we have been busy with home renovations and simply lack of sailing. However, we never miss an opportunity to embrace natures beauty, this time in the form of a common dolphin family swimming by our anchorage. Two of the four adults had younglings with them, who they seem to be teaching. Pretty cool to spot them by your front door ! Nature is awesome and nature needs us as much as we need it ! Perhaps modern technology will and already is able to show us the incredible similarities we all share, the complex social behaviours and interactions, the meaning of family and so much more :) Ps. The common dolphin is unfortunately not that common anymore and faces numerous threats, but there is hope. #agreenheading #dolphins #commondolphin #sailingadventure #sailingtheaegean Thanks for Watching! PANAMA POSSE HUMPBACK SEASON IN BANDERAS BAY, MEXICO 🇲🇽 Humpback whales migrate to Banderas bay and Mexican mainland coastal bays to the north and south during the northern hemisphere's winter months. They come from the cold waters off Alaska and Canada to the warmer waters off Mexico to breed and give birth. During this time whales can be seen giving breaching, tail slapping, and fin waving lessons to their newborns or putting on BIG splashy shows for their friends or foes. Humpback whales are singers and their song can be heard up to 7 nm away. Listen closely and you may even hear their song through the hull of your boat. Thank you for sharing their grace with us SY QUICK! https://panamaposse.com/sign-up
#oceanview #Indonesia #sailingadventure #wonderfulindonesia #liveaboard #sailing #RajaAmpat #Komodo #Flores #SpiceIslands #shark #sharksighting #carpetshark On SeaTrek trips, the first snorkeling is always so important. Our Tour Leaders will take extra good care of you, making sure you're comfortable and having a great time underwater. And of course, keeping an eye on any interesting underwater creatures surrounding you 👀 Not too long ago, after arriving in Mioskon, we plunged in for the first snorkeling session and we had a shy guest coming to greet us. The carpet shark was swimming when our Tour Leaders, Tinae and Ajung, spotted its colorful pattern. What a beautiful creature! Look forward to our Maluku and Sulawesi trips for more encounters in the future! 🦈 👍 If you found this video interesting, don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more adventure in Indonesia through Indonesian eyes!
