This week we skipped our weekly video as we have been busy with home renovations and simply lack of sailing. However, we never miss an opportunity to embrace natures beauty, this time in the form of a common dolphin family swimming by our anchorage. Two of the four adults had younglings with them, who they seem to be teaching. Pretty cool to spot them by your front door ! Nature is awesome and nature needs us as much as we need it ! Perhaps modern technology will and already is able to show us the incredible similarities we all share, the complex social behaviours and interactions, the meaning of family and so much more :) Ps. 9.8 knots yesterday afternoon while out sailing on this vintage sailboat! I know many of you have been much faster on a sailboat, but this was my fastest ever. The beautiful, long lines on this 43 foot 1963 Sparkman and Stephens helped get us up to speed. We were blowing past other boats! 😄 If two sailboats are going in the same direction, it's a race!
