This week we skipped our weekly video as we have been busy with home renovations and simply lack of sailing. However, we never miss an opportunity to embrace natures beauty, this time in the form of a common dolphin family swimming by our anchorage. Two of the four adults had younglings with them, who they seem to be teaching. Pretty cool to spot them by your front door ! Nature is awesome and nature needs us as much as we need it ! Perhaps modern technology will and already is able to show us the incredible similarities we all share, the complex social behaviours and interactions, the meaning of family and so much more :) Ps. The ‘Hippocampus Bargibanti,’ also known as Bargibant's seahorse, is one of the many #PygmySeahorse species you can encounter across #Indonesia. We spotted this tiny marvel in #Misool. Finding these adorable creatures is quite a challenge unless you can locate the Gorgonian coral they call home, which perfectly matches their colour and texture. This particular species of Pygmy Seahorse only grows up to 2.3 cm long (0.94 inches), and as you can see in this video, it’s nearly the same size as the tip of the pointer! ~~~ #pygmyseahorse #marinelife #marine #critters #seacritters #diving #scubadiving
