Today my crew and I set out on a 4–5 day crossing from French Guiana to Tobago. As we head north, we’re all looking forward to the warm, inviting weather of the tropics. But along the way, we faced some serious suffering—dark, stormy seas brought widespread seasickness and leaky hatches.
