What seemed like a minor cosmetic issue led us to grind back a small area of fiberglass to see how far the cracks went. By the time we reached solid material, we had uncovered a section that needed proper attention. With the damaged area exposed, it was time to learn a completely new skill. Using epoxy, fiberglass, and fairing techniques, we carefully rebuilt and reshaped the rudder back to its original profile.
