There's No Going Back Now Episode 4

We actually did it. We sold almost everything we own, said goodbye to our home, our cabin, our cars, our pets, our friends and the life our kids have always known… and boarded a plane to Florida to begin our new life sailing around the world. This episode is the end of one chapter for our family—and the beginning of the biggest adventure of our lives. Before leaving Idaho, we squeezed in one final 4th of July weekend at our cabin, said goodbye to a place filled with years of family memories, took our cats to their new home with my parents, shipped the last of our belongings across the country and watched our boys say goodbye to some of their closest friends. And then suddenly… the house was empty. Standing in the living room where we raised our kids, the reality of what we were doing finally hit us. Leaving behind a life that is comfortable, safe and genuinely GOOD is a lot harder than we expected. But sometimes growth isn’t about walking away from something that wasn’t working. Sometimes it’s being willing to let go of something you love to make room for what’s next. So the six of us gathered together one last time, said a prayer, grabbed our bags and headed to the airport.
