The trip of a LIFETIME |Sailing from New Caledonia to New Zealand|

As a kid I always dreamed of being an explorer. I devoured books about the age of exploration and fell in love with the dream of discovery, sailing over the horizon to explore new lands and discover new places within ourselves. The one thing missing from that dream was the joy, excitement, and love I have of sharing this passion for exploration, self-discovery, and adventure with others. Now I get to do that and sometimes I have to pinch myself because it still feels like I'm dreaming. Thank you Pete and Kendel for sharing this passage with me. I feel like we met in New Cal as strangers and I arrived in New Zealand with two of the best friends I've ever met. It's amazing how quickly deep connections and friendships can develop when we put our phones away for a week. Thanks guys! You Rock! My story: After many years in business in Vancouver I was tired of life inside the box and wanted to make a change, we just weren't exactly sure what would be next. In July of 2016, when Sayo was six months pregnant, we decided (somewhat at the last minute) to fly to New Caledonia for one last holiday before the baby was born.
