This Sahara dust storm is so big, it will cross the Atlantic and disrupt the formation of hurricanes. The islands of Cabo Verde get covered by Sahara dust pretty regularly. Here they call it Bruma Secca or Dry Fog. And when being at anchor here in Mindelo Bay you have to live through these storms. It's not so pleasant and sometimes intense.
