Squib 'Lift Off" first sail of 2021 - Sailing Single Handed
A gentle sail to test the rigging of our two Squibs and a Soling (the latter not in this video). The winds later picked up, unfortunately sailing single handed and just using my mobile, proved to difficult to take the best part of the sail. We sailed down wind to Normanton Church and then cross wind between the Peninsula and the Church at a reason speed. After a while headed up wind towards Rutland Sailing Club and the right up the southern leg of Rutland Water, with the wind on on my port beam. All in all a rather nice first sail of the season.
