Squall Alley | Solo Sailing Scotland to Ireland

In this episode of Sailing Safar I depart Craobh Marina on Friday the 13th, setting off solo for Northern Ireland. The route takes Safar south down the Sound of Jura before crossing the North Channel. The passage quickly turns into what feels like “Squall Alley”, with dark clouds, heavy rain and sudden gusts sweeping through the sound.
