Solo Cruising to Hen Rock, Catalina Island (December 2020)
In this episode, we take a solo cruise from San Pedro, CA to Hen Rock, Catalina Island. Winds are light. The anchorage and mooring fields are near empty this time of year, which made for easy anchoring in about 60 feet of depth. We met up with the crew of Ohana and hiked up the trail past White's Landing. We encountered a bison, two catalina island foxes, and two mule deer.
