I sailed across from mainland Florida to Sanibel Island in my 11 foot "Super Snark" sailboat. With my homemade experimental sail, I hit the water for a challenging task of making it to the other shore and back. As I learn the currents, tides, wind, swell, shoals, and boat traffic I finally figure out that it can be done. This video will show you what its like to attempt sailing a small boat in these waters.
